Ready Set GO! It is a flexible curriculum that ensures mastery of four core competencies:

The curriculum can be delivered in various educational settings: a traditional classroom, an afterschool program, a summer program, or students can access the curriculum as a synchronized self-directed course.

The Ready Set GO! The platform is designed to ease teachers' workloads. There are no plans to create, no assessments to correct, and no data to compile. These tasks are built into the RSG Platform, allowing the teacher to facilitate discussions while Dr. Jim and Dr. Donna, hosts of the RSG lessons, take the students on their RSG journey through a series of videos, exercises, and assessments.

Meet our Team

Dr. Jim Presbrey - Founder

Dr. Jim Presbrey is a non-profit leader, seasoned counselor, mentor, and coach who has ensured high school and college students have the resources to succeed for the last 30 years. In the non-profit sector, he has been able to develop and lead transformative youth development programs as the National Director for the National Football Foundation’s Play It Smart Program, as a Vice President of Youth Markets for the American Heart Association, and currently, as a Vice President of Academics in Motion where he is also a co-founder. He has served as a counselor, coach, or mentor at the United States Olympic Training Center, the University of Maine, Temple University, and Rutgers University to empower the individual. With a master’s degree in athletic counseling from Springfield College and an EdD in Counseling Psychology from Boston University, Dr. Jim has extensive knowledge and experience in human development and performance and has been able to assist countless students in their quest to manage any challenges and to achieve sustainable and meaningful. growth. As a founder of Kangel, he is committed to ensuring students and parents have all the tools necessary to be college and career-ready.

Dr. Donna Risolo – Founder

Dr. Donna Risolo is an educational consultant, teen mentor, and college admissions expert who has helped thousands of students realize their college dreams and reach their career potential. She and her Kangel co-founders are on a mission to turn those thousands into millions. Donna has extensive teaching and leadership experience across all educational levels, from early childhood to K-16, and holds an EdD from Teachers College, Columbia University. Additionally, she is the author of the parenting guide Teen Talk: Dr. Donna’s Guide to Building Rapport and Trust with Your Teenager. She is an experienced public speaker and workshop leader dedicated to advancing educational practices and advocating for equitable opportunities.

Terry Quinn - Founder

Terry is a dedicated professional with a strong background in education and technology. A proud graduate of Springfield College, he has spent the last 30 years making significant contributions to the software and education industries. Before joining Kangel, Terry was the co-founder and president of Academics In Motion, a successful mentoring program that empowers high school students to achieve their academic and personal goals. Terry continues to inspire the next generation of learners and leaders through his commitment and leadership.
